I read the first book in the series when it came out in 2016, and have been eagerly awaiting the next brother’s story. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for my honest review. Definitely Dating was such an emotional love story. Between the opposites attract and crazy chemistry between Josh and Piper and the cute and funny moments between Josh and his brothers, this story had it all. Piper with her backstory, trust issues and dedication to help others really pulled at my heart strings.

There’s nothing that single mom Liv Preston won’t do if it means making her six-year-old son smile again. After a heartbreaking two years, her little family is due for some fun in the sun. She just didn’t expect to find it in the big, rugged, Search and Rescue hero next door – who shows her just how exciting, and sexy, life’s adventures can be. As expected there was plenty of angst, emotion, and drama.

Piper was strong and independent with loads of grit while Josh was a swoon worthy hero. Both characters had flaws and issues from their past to overcome. That’s what makes Marina’s characters lovable and the reader enjoying the ride to their happily ever after. As always, this book was very well written and hit me with all the feels. This is possibly the worst edited book I’ve ever read, but the story was relatively enjoyable, so I’ll give it two stars. One of the saddest statements in the book was when she said when she was little, she just wanted to be safe.
